No
final table today but we had one forming for tomorrow. The man in the Boro
shirt Padraig Parkinson, is in there too so a good quote
should be available. He hasn't cashed since last years WSOP. Maybe that
explains the Boro shirt.
He will be joined there by Richard Toth from
Hungary and Mats Rahmn from Sweden. The home team have a good young player
called Jordan Morgan (OK, USA) and veteran Billy Duarte (CO,USA) making his
second final table of the year. The event is NLHE ($1500) the first prize
$655k.
John Gale (Bushey, Herts, GB) is close to the chip lead at the
end of Day 1 of the PLHE.
Cyndy Violette (Atlantic
City), a very good stud player, forced to play NLHE most of the year dominated
her table including Doyle Brunson and is the overnight leader in the $5k
stud.
As I was walking through the Pot Limit Holdem. There, two players,
at a showdown, had the ace of spades in their hands. The floorman was called.
He instructed the dealer to check the second deck. No ace of spades. Play
continued. Surely worth a stewards.
1) Padraig Parkinson. 2) Cyndy
Violette
